*This lid is NOT biodegradable.  It is offered as a convenience item to fit the above container until a better alternative product is offered.  Compostable lid coming soon!  We hope to have a biodegradable lid available in the near future.  We will list it (replacing this conventional plastic lid) as soon as it becomes available.
