The 1" ReBinder Chipboard Recycled Binder D ring binder is built tough to last. Made from a solid 100 point recycled chipboard, this durable binder also includes our unique removable 3 ring binder mechanism.

The 1" ReBinder Chipboard Recycled Binder can hold 218 pages of 20 lb paper.

Dimensions: Front and Back Cover: 10.5" Wide by 11.625" High. Spine is 11.625" High by 1.469" Wide.

The 1" ReBinder Chipboard Recycled Binder slanted D-ring binder combines durability, functionality and is backed by ReBinder's strong commitment to the environment.

Our new 1" slanted D ring binder's cover is one piece of solid (100pt) chip board made from 100% recycled fibers with a minimum of 85% post-recycled content. Our 1" slant D ring makes turning pages or storing documents easy. Like all ReBinders the ring is simple to remove for recycling at the end of the binder's life cycle. Each binder holds up to 218 sheets of paper. 16 per case.

Please note that the brown kraft color in our chipboard can vary from run to run based on the high post-consumer recycled content.

Recycled Office Papers

If you are diligent about protecting the environment, you should be using recycled office paper products. It is also important to make sure they are truly “recycled”. Most recycled paper products contain very little post-consumer waste (PCW) paper, and are actually composed of wood chips and mill scraps. Only recycled paper made with PCW aide in fighting deforestation and reducing landfill waste.

When you recycle, never assume that the recycled office paper that you are using is going to be re-used or re-sold as eco friendly paper. The painful fact is that, 60% of paper in US is still not recycled. It is better to simply use recycled office paper to begin with and save some trees in the process.

Recycled Office Paper Facts

The Environmental Protection Agency requires a minimum of 30% PCW to constitute recycled paper. Some local office supply and national chain stores may represent a miniscule line of recycled paper products, but the vast majority of their business is selling chlorine-bleached, virgin-fiber paper. Purchasing environmental products from them only succeeds in sending a mixed message to the paper industry.
